Take a Vintage Treasure Trail
To Dorset's Dairy House Antiques

Hidden away in the Dorset countryside, just three miles outside of Shaftesbury, is the delightful
Dairy House Antiques. This deceptively spacious and charming old building is home to eighteen antique dealers who display their treasures over three floors in a seemingly never-ending maze of little rooms.
From stylish shabby-chic homewares to decadent antiques, this treasure trove really does have something to suit all tastes and price ranges - the pretty vintage buttons start at just 10p! The regularly changing stock means you’ll never be short of inspiration. I love browsing the distressed dressers piled high with delicate china tea sets, decorative birdcages and vintage pretties you never knew you needed. The glass jewellery cabinets, overflowing with pre-loved gems are also hard to resist. It really is impossible to leave empty-handed.
If you’re on a roll, I recommend crossing the courtyard and continuing your vintage treasure trail at Semley Reclamation Yard. It might not have all the pretties of the Dairy House, but the wonderful, eclectic stock make it definitely worth a visit. After all, the lovely thing is you never quite know where you might uncover the next gem.
This lovely thing to do in Dorset was kindly shared by Amy Evans - lover of all things handmade, vintage and pretty. Amy owns Blanche & Lola where you can buy her handmade one-of-a-kind jewellery, tiaras and accessories, all made from original, hand-sourced vintage treasures.
