Summer Activities at Vauxhall City Farm

Give your wee ones a taste of country life this summer by taking a trip down to Vauxhall City Farm. Hidden away in the heart of South East London, this teeny tiny spot is playing host to a wonderful selection of unique hands-on experiences for animal lovers of any age.
Farmer for a Day: ideal for animal lovers aged 7-12, leave your little ones to experience a day in the life of the farm. As they learn to care for each of the animals they will undertake a number of tasks including feeding the pigs, collecting eggs, mucking out and grooming the ponies and even caring for the family of baby ferrets!
26th and 31st August from 10:30- 15:30pm | Cost: £35 (includes activity book, certificate, refreshments & photos)
Free Guided Tours: suitable for children of all ages, these provide a lovely introduction to each of the farms inhabitants and offer little ones a chance to stroke and hold the animals in a safe and controlled environment.
Each Friday from 11.30-12.30 | Cost: Free!
Family Based Workshops: a change to indulge in some family fun, each workshop includes crafts and games plus the chance to meet and greet the animals.
‘Sheep are Super!’ - Friday 6th August, ‘Chickens are Cool!’ - Friday 13th August and ‘Wildlife is Wicked!’ - Friday 27th August | Cost: Free!
