A few questions about nice things...

Who do you most admire?

I don’t really have any specific role models . My admiration is mainly for the ordinary people you meet in life who help make life magical. The photographers, writers and bloggers who make the world a happier and kinder place to be in.

What are your favourite possessions?

I treasure my old school tuck box which is filled with family photographs, letters and ephemera from mine and my family’s life

Tell us about your perfect day or weekend...

It would be a beautiful sunny day probably camping with family and friends or staying in our ramshackle cabin in Cornwall. We’d have a lazy outdoor cooked breakfast followed by an amble in a spring woodland studded with bluebells. We’d hire a couple of boats and go mackerel fishing with the children and then head back to camp for a feast either in a field or on the beach.  The evening would finish with a campfire and wine and the children tucked up in bed so we could have a few hours of grown up revellery before the day was out.

What makes you happiest?

Simple things – sunshine, laughter, my family and unexpected pleasures – stopping on a road trip and finding a beautiful meadow or a stream to paddle in. I also love reading blogs and discovering new photographers.

What would you like to do in the future?

I’d love to publish a children’s book and learn calligraphy.  I’d also like to travel internationally with my family when they’re a little older.
